Title – Anything Else But Love
Author: Ankita Chadha
Through the first page, a runaway bride creates a hazy impression on the reader’s mind as the story proceeds with a dream just like a flashback. It is a story of Shewali Singh and Avi Malhotra, who have nothing in common, or so it seems. Will the opposites attract?
Shewali and Avi are destined to meet. What starts with an accidental meeting at the airport carries on later at Bangalore. ‘Anything Else but Love’ takes the reader through the trials and tribulation of love. Though the plot is not new the way the book has been written it is a pleasant read. Fast with simple style it moves well. Readers follow Shewali to the Bangalore office where the relationship develops.
The plot is predictable until Shewali comes under suspicion. From that point, the book changes track and become more interesting. Ankita Chadha has succeeded in creating convincing characters. Family bonding and relationships are explored well by the author. This book can be enjoyed by anyone who has an experience of working in the corporate world.
Anything Else but Love is a fine read without any unnecessary complications, a book that can be enjoyed on a flight or on a weekend.
