Geronimo Stilton, the editor of “The rodent’s gazatte” newspaper in New Mouse City likes a rather quiet and organized lifestyle. But he wasn’t given any choice when he was whisked into an adventure by his little sister Thea to find the Lost Treasure Of The Emerald Eye. They of course couldn’t go of alone into the fierce waters. They needed an expert sailor to accompany them to the treasure island. And join them he did,their pleasantly plump cousin Thrash who exasperated poor Gerrykins through every inch of their journey. Fortunately for Geronimo his favourite nephew little Benjamin decided to make a surprise entrance into the ship “Lucky Lady’s” crew. Geronimeister was put through more action than he ever needed in his entire mouse life. From a shipwreck to sleeping in a tree and seeing a pit filled with bones. But in the end they all make it back home, for as mice quote, ”Friends together! Mice forever!”
 




The book is lively and entertaining and has illustrations through out the book which will captivate young readers. It is a very light and short read and there is a very important lesson for them to learn in it.
 
Gerrykins,Geronimeister,Geronimoid,Gerryboy. Will anyone just simply call him Geronimo!?
